Study Abroad Fall & Spring program

Students who are looking to spend a semester in Barcelona will find this to be the perfect program for them. The UAB International Area has a wide array of semester courses taught in English including topics such as humanities, economics and culture.

This particular program proves to be popular as it permits students to obtain academic credits whilst they learn the Spanish language and feel the whole culture experience. Through each semester course credits are earned and then it is the student's responsibility to display the documents obtained from the UAB to their home university which will gain them academic credits.

Each course below is taught in English apart from the Spanish Language and Culture and the Spanish for Business courses, these courses are available for all proficiency levels. The students can select from between 1 and 5 semester courses.

The semester courses are made up of 45 hours which is 3 ½ hours on a weekly basis. The Spanish Language and Culture consists of 90 hours which is 7 hours each week. Upon completion the students will receive a certificate which allows them to obtain credits for their home university.
