During the months of July and August, intensive 4 week Spanish language courses are available to interested potential students. The course entails 20 hours of spanish classes per week plus optional cultural spanish courses.

This course is for those who are looking to learn the Spanish language in a fun, relaxed atmosphere of sunny Spain as the setting to their experience. An excellent vacation in Spain with a purpose.
The Summer Spanish Course at CUM
Summer courses run for 4 hours on a daily basis (a total of 20 hours each week).
Despite these courses being held over the summer, the course content is just as serious as the school year. Lessons will generally focus on improving grammar, writing, comprehension and conversations skills, with the extra emphasis on culture that aims to develop the knowledge of Spain and Spanish culture:
- Spain in the 20th Century.
- Flamenco: Culture and Music.
- Keys to Spanish Contemporary Culture.
- Spanish 20th Century Drama.
- Sociological Aspects of modern day Spain.
There are 3 varying Spanish language class levels offered to the students. Each student will undergo an initial placement test to determine their spanish language level. After which, periodic and consistent evaluation will be implemented throughout the course. One on one tutoring sessions are also available with every course.
The CUM spanish language courses only have, at most, 18 students in each class. The small numbers are to ensure that each student receives adequate individual attention from the teacher. This structure has proven to be successful and efficient in enabling the students to make quick progress in the language.
