Malaga Photos: Malagueta Beach
Malaga beach, seen from the neighbourhood called Malagueta. It is situated east of the harbour and south of Plaza de Toros, Malaga’s bullring. The beach is artificially made in the late 1800s using sand from the Sahara desert in Africa. Because of the fact that it is close to the centre, many people from Malaga go to this beach when the weather is good. It is possible to both swim here and practise water sports. At night the place is used by joggers and mountain bikers and once in a while a romantic couple enjoying the clear view on the stars.
