Malaga Photos: Playa de la Malagueta
The Malagueta is Malaga’s city beach. The beach was man-made in the late 1800s using sand from the Sahara desert in Africa. It is based east of the harbour and is within easy walking distance from the center. Apart from sun bathing, it is also possible to swim and do many activities such as water sports. There are also many restaurants with tables right on the beach, which normally specialize in serving the freshest of seafood.
